Call for Posters for
International Woman’s Leadership Conference VI &
Shaping the Future of Dental Education III – Oral Health from a Global Perspective
ADEA and ADEE invite submissions from interested individuals for academic posters for consideration for inclusion in the two meetings International Woman’s Leadership Conference VI and Shaping the Future of Dental Education III – Oral Health from a Global Perspective, being held in Brescia, Italy 23rd to 27th April 2019.
Posters must be focused on either the content of the IWLC VI programme or on one of the four core themes of the Shaping III meeting and ideally be research and academically based. It is preferred if submissions focus on the sub aims, objectives and expected outcomes of the themes of each of the sessions.
The application process:
All submission must be processed through the ADEE online abstract submission platform. Please ensure you read the instructions carefully before advancing.
The closing date for receipt of applications is Monday 17th December 2018 at 13:00 hrs Irish time. Inclusion of submissions received after this time is at the discretion of the evaluation panel.
Successful applications will be notified of the outcome no later than 19th December 2018.
Important information before deciding to submit applications:
The aim of including posters in this meeting is to broaden discussions of the various work groups to areas that are encompassed by the groups overarching theme. The decision of the various chairs in selection is final.
It is envisaged that applications will be of a high standard and that no more than 30 to 50 posters will be selected for each stream, therefore only one application per individual is accepted.
Posters will be in e-poster format. These are highly interactive electronic posters allowing authors to link to multimedia and a wide variety of content. While there will be no formal presentation session for posters, they will be incorporated into various elements of both meetings.
Those submitting posters that are selected will be expected to register and attend the meeting and actively participate in the meetings workings.
Submissions will be evaluated by an editorial panel and members of the individual working group leadership.
NB: Finally the email used as the key contact to submit the poster will be the sole point of contact for that poster, therefore it is imperative you monitor this email for communication, including invitation links to the display platform in due course. It is expected that authors will have to construct their e-poster from mid March to mid April 2019.
